Food for Others
We proudly support Food for Others, a key resource in our community. Food for Others is an important part of Northern Virginia’s safety net for those needing food when an emergency strikes and for the growing number of working poor who need to supplement their inadequate food supplies. Food for Others obtains much of its food through food rescue operations and food drives and accepts donations. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a massive strain on the resources of food banks and organizations like Food for Others. Book It For Books
We are proud to be a multi-year sponsor for Book It for Books, which benefits Reading is Fundamental of Northern Virginia. RIF of NOVA provides books for over 20,000 deserving children at 36 schools and sites in the City of Alexandria, and in Arlington, Fairfax, and Prince William counties. Book It For Books is open to serious and fun runners, walkers, children, and families (including strollers). To add to the fun, participants are invited to wear a favorite book character costume!
