Kevin Switaj is the President and Chief Executive Officer of BZ Opportunity Management. An experienced proposal professional, he has led bids of diverse sizes and requirements for a wide range of Government clients. He focuses on providing high-quality Federal proposal development and oral proposal coaching. He is actively involved in the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), currently serving his third term as a member of the APMP National Capital Area Board of Directors and was a mentor in the chapter’s mentor-protege program for multiple years. He is a well-recognized thought leader in the field who speaks regularly at regional and international conferences. Kevin has also won multiple awards for his writing on opportunity management. He is also involved in his community, volunteering for his community swim association, Cub Scouts, and as a coach for youth basketball.

Allison Powell
Chief Operating Officer

Allison Powell has almost twenty years of experience in Government contracting as a contracts manager and proposal manager, editor, and writer. She has managed contracts for a range of customers including NASA, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, FBI, United States Postal Service, and the Department of State. She has managed proposals with a team of over 40 subcontractors and has written and edited cost volumes and management volumes for efforts valued at over $50 million. Her outstanding negotiation skills, writing and editing expertise, and organizational excellence make her a valued member of BZ Opportunity Management.

Allison Williams is an accomplished business professional with over 16 years of experience in both client facing roles and internal oversight and performance assurance. Allison also brings multiple years of experience in recruiting and resource management to the BZ Opportunity Management team. She works closely with our consulting team to properly allocate resources and proactively address potential issues.
